Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Scorebug you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU) to use Scorebug. By using the service you represent that you meet this age requirement.

• You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
• You may not share your account or create accounts for others without their consent.
• You must provide accurate information when registering.
• Usernames must not impersonate real people or organisations.

You agree not to:

• Post content that is unlawful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or sexually explicit.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or otherwise attempt to extract data from Scorebug at scale.
• Circumvent any security measure or access controls.
• Use the service to spam or send unsolicited messages to other users.
• Upload photos you do not have the right to share.

You retain ownership of content you post (logs, notes, photos). By posting you grant Scorebug a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display, and (where you mark content public) show it to other users solely to operate the service. We do not claim ownership of your data.

• Premium features require an active subscription or a gifted access window.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Refunds are handled per the App Store (Apple / Google) refund policy of the platform through which you subscribed.
• We reserve the right to modify premium features with reasonable notice.

Free-tier users may see advertisements served by third-party ad networks (Google AdMob / AdSense). Premium subscribers receive an ad-free experience. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements.

All Scorebug trademarks, logos, designs, and software are owned by Scorebug Inc. Nothing in these Terms grants you a licence to use our intellectual property beyond what is needed to use the service normally.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days except where retention is required by law.

Scorebug is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Sports data is provided by third parties (ESPN, TheSportsDB) and may contain errors.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via in-app notice or email at least 7 days before taking effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
