Privacy Policy

Scorebug (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a sports-chronicle application operated by Cadenic Studios, Calgary, Alberta, Canada. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and your rights regarding that data.

The full, canonical version of this policy lives at getscorebug.app/privacy. Where the two differ, that one governs.

• Account data: email address, display name, and profile photo when you register.
• Social sign-in: when you sign in with Google or Discord we receive a unique identifier and, where permitted, your public profile name. We never receive your social account password.
• Game logs: ratings, notes, perspectives, and photos you attach to game records. Private logs are visible only to you unless you choose to share them publicly.
• Usage data: pages visited, features used, and crash diagnostics to help us improve the app. We do not sell this data.
• Device data: device type, OS version, and a non-identifiable install ID used to deliver push notification reminders you opt into.

• Authenticate you and maintain your session.
• Store and display your game logs, ratings, and photos.
• Send you notification reminders for games on your watchlist (only if you grant permission).
• Calculate aggregate statistics shown on your Profile card.
• Display advertising to free-tier users via Google AdMob (native) or AdSense (web). Premium subscribers see no ads and their data is not shared with ad networks beyond what is required to suppress ad delivery.
• Improve the service through anonymised analytics.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Supabase — our database, authentication and file storage provider.
• Google Firebase — push notification delivery, if you opt in.
• Google AdMob / AdSense — ad delivery to free users.
• RevenueCat and Google Play Billing — Front Office subscriptions.
• Discord — when you link your Discord account to find linemates.
• Affiliate networks (CJ, eBay Partner Network, Impact, TicketNetwork) — when you tap a shop or ticket link and leave the app. Those destinations set their own cookies under their own policies.
• Law enforcement or regulators when required by law.

Your account and everything in it are kept for as long as the account exists.

You can delete it yourself at any time. Open your Profile, then the Settings tab, and use Delete account at the bottom. Deletion is immediate and permanent: your game logs, ratings, notes, private photos, Docket, Clippings, follows and accolades are all removed, and none of it can be recovered afterwards.

You can also start the same request from the web, at getscorebug.app/account-deletion, or by emailing hello@getscorebug.app, which we action within 30 days.

Deleting your account does not cancel a Front Office subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Google Play, not by us, so cancel it in the Play Store before deleting the account or it will keep renewing.

Scorebug is not directed to children under 13 (or 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, contact us immediately.

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, correct, port, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@getscorebug.app.

We use industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, row-level security on all database tables, and scoped API keys. Private photos are stored in access-controlled buckets visible only to the owner.

We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notice or email. Continued use of Scorebug after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
